Evelyn Partners Cup, featuring CSC head office

The Evelyn Partners Cup, an exciting new corporate chess event, took place this month in partnership with the City Chess Association and CSC. Spread across three Mondays, it was a brilliant competitive and social event which saw the CSC team, led by IM Malcolm Pein, finish victorious, winning 11 out of 12 matches, with one draw. A stand-out performance came from Nevil Chan who scored a perfect 12/12. However with 43 points out of 48, congratulations go to the whole team for their consistency. Other teams included Amazon, Barclays, Bloomberg, the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, Haysmacintyre, Evelyn Partners and Qube Research & Technologies.
