We offer a full training programme including a full-day course on the CSC Curriculum and a period spent shadowing experienced tutors in schools.
We currently have particular need in the following areas: Lancaster, Manchester, Merseyside, Birmingham, Bristol, Oxford, and Berkshire.
We welcome applications from students who may be interested in part-time work during term time (if you are not a British citizen plese ensure you have the right to work as self-employed in the UK) . Our work is fulfilling and you will develop important skills that will improve your CV. However, please note that some student visas do not allow holders to carry out self employed work, except in very specific circumstances. All our tutors are self-employed contractors.
All tutors will require an enhanced DBS check. If you don’t already have one, CSC will apply for one on your behalf. If you have lived outside the UK in the last five years, you will also need to provide a criminal record certificate from the country or countries you have lived in. CSC will advise you on the procedure for obtaining this.
