CSC Grand Prix Final at the Emirates
The final leg of the CSC Grand Prix took centre stage on Sunday, December 1st, as part of the XTX Markets London Chess Classic 2024. This much-anticipated finale brought together enthusiastic young players from across the UK, competing in age groups ranging from Under 8 to Under 18.
The event was a showcase for the rising talent in the country, with the ten players with the highest scores in the Grand Prix overall invited. Held in an tense and exciting atmosphere, the 10 player round robin was a brilliant experience for all involved. By the end of the day the final standings of the whole Grand Prix series were as follows:
