Classroom Management Course for New Tutors

On Saturday, 29th March, CSC held a classroom management course for 15 of our newer tutors. Led by Andrew Smith, a qualified Primary school teacher and CSC Tutor since 2018, the session gave our tutors a chance to meet and learn together.

The course was a revival of our annual training weekends pre-Covid to ensure that all of our tutors have the confidence and skills to handle a wide range of classroom challenges.

Andrew expertly covered and demonstrated strategies for getting students' attention, building positive relationships with your class, and supporting students with SEND, We wrapped up with interactive scenarios to practice these new skills.

Everyone found the day helpful and is eager to use what they've learned in their classrooms. Thanks to Andrew and all the tutors for making it a success!
