CSC Junior Grand Prix

On Saturday, 19th October, the sixth tournament of the CSC Junior Grand Prix took place at South Hampstead High School, a venue that proved perfect for hosting this special event. This leg of CSC’s very own tournament series drew enthusiastic young players from various age groups, including Under 8, Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, and Under 18.

It was fantastic opportunity for young chess enthusiasts to compete in an ECF-rated environment. Throughout the day, arbiters were impressed by the quality of the games and the exemplary sportsmanship displayed by all participants.

Chess tuition vouchers for £500 and £250 were awarded to the top performers in each section. Beyond the individual prizes, players accumulated points toward the overall standings of the Grand Prix, making every game matter.
